In GarageBand for macOS, pitch correction exists as a simple and straightforward plugin that you can add to your Audio tracks. Before we begin, I just have to be completely honest and say I’m not an expert in the use of pitch correction or auto-tune, because I rarely use them, however, I recently had to, so I figured I’d share what I learned. Dec 15, 2019 Auto Talent V0.2. AutoTalent V0.2 is a cool free autotune plugin which can be used on any instrument from vocals to guitar and more. It has a basic user interface which may seem daunting at first but is easy to get to grips with. You can easily change the mode or scale of a melody as well as add suitable relative harmony with the autotune presets. Plugin Version 1.0.7. Voloco is now available as a free VST3 and AU plugin. This version. allows you to apply six presets and adjust key, scale, and pitch correction strength. A pro version that allows complete control over sound design parameters is under development. The plugin supports only sample rates between 24k and 96k, inclusive.

It’s become so widely used in modern music production that it’s best to look at it as just another production tool like Reverb, Echo, Distortion or Compression.
